Observing FOREX Sessions By Using FOREX Clock

FOREX CLOCK SESSIONS

FOREX clock is an essential tool every FOREX trader must use in order to observe forex sessions properly. You need to have a good FOREX clock if your strategy does not prescribe you to trade within a fixed time interval.

The activity on the market is at the maximum levels when two adjacent FOREX sessions overlap. Between 12:00pm – 4:00pm GMT American and European sessions overlap. If you trade in the time interval, you must be cautious, since the strongest market movements often happen during this time.

Opposite is also true. Don’t expect a new strong trend to begin at the end of American session when Asia is still asleep.

To be aware of the current place on the FOREX session timeline, and to check whether I am trading during the overlapping session hours, I use a free FOREX clock.

You simply cannot find a simpler and easier FOREX clock. You can get a copy of this clock by downloading it from my website.

I use FOREX Clock as a foundation of one of my successful strategies. I start trading every day when inter-session flat begins (the end of American session before Asia wakes up), and open positions inside the channel in the direction of the main trend. I keep trading in the channel from side to side until Asians come in and mix with Americans creating a new daily trend; when this happens, I stay open with a trailing stop until position closes by itself.

Every day, this simple strategy lets you collect 2 – 3 times by around 20 pips plus 50 – 100 pips one time by staying open in the direction of the current trend.
